COUNTRY PRESENTATION
The Dominican Republic is a miracle of nature: 402 of its 1609 kilometers of coastline rank among the world’s most beautiful beaches. National parks, mountain regions and river valleys allow you to get to know its impressive flora and fauna. No doubt, its range of outdoor and water sports leaves nothing to be desired.
The capital Santo Domingo is the oldest city in the New World. In 1492 the island was discovered by Christopher Columbus and its fascinating history lives on: in the form of architecture, museums, music and art performances and festivals.
With 25 designer golf courses, the Dominican Republic is a top destination for golf tourism. Many of its world-class resorts and hotels are oriented towards incentives and corporate events.
